Mycelium Composite Play

OVERVIEW

Mycelium comes from the network that connects fungi to its living environment. It is important to mushroom species as it is the connective tissue that provides strength, in the world of fabrication mycelium may be a way to strengthen existing 3d printing methods. By cultivating spores onto 3d printing material such as clay, the mycelium may grow and ultimately become a fiber of connectivity in the 3d fabrication process.
