“CelluSaw” is made from a combination of cellulose, methylcellulose, sawdust, and water, recycling elements typically disregarded or abandoned in the construction and agriculture industries. The backbone of the mixture is plant cellulose, while the binder is methylcellulose, a cellulose derivative. Sawdust gives it texture and strength, and water smooths the medium for mixing. This material minimizes ultimately works to minimize material waste and increases recyclability.

COMPOSITION
Water
27.5mL of water
Cellulose
10% cellulose
Methylcellulose
0.1%, a small pinch
Sawdust
80-90% Sawdust
method
1. Mix materials until they have a clay-like consistency, then load into 3D clay extruder. This material can also be casted.
2. Adjust extrusion variables to create a clean CelluSaw module.
